ABOUT ME

ABOUT ME

My dad bought me my first baseball card pack back in 1988 when I was 9 years old. For years, my favorite pastime was sitting on the floor, sorting cards for hours on end. Thirty six years later, not much has changed.

In 2011, I decided to leave my film career and become a full time card dealer. It was the best decision I ever made.

A few years ago, I started my YouTube channel as a way to share my experiences and expertise. I sentimentally named the channel based on the order of roles I had taken in the card industry throughout my life: Collector Investor Dealer (In That Order). I never expected the channel to grow as fast as it did and to open up as many doors as it has. I love meeting and learning from all kinds of people in the card world and plan to continue the channel for years to come.

As a dealer, there is much more to my card business than "buy low, sell high". My goal is always to find a price in which both parties are happy with the transaction. I am always transparent when buying and selling cards, and I am very proud of my many repeat customers.

Whether you found me through word of mouth, via my YouTube Channel or otherwise, I would be happy to discuss your collection with you. After all, as my wife astutely tells me, "Every time you come home with a pile of cards, you are happy and giddy."

Thank you for visiting my website.

FAQs

FREQUENTLY
ASKED QUESTIONS

What cards do you buy?

I buy collections of all shapes and sizes. All sports and years. Big and small. Graded and raw.

Are there any cards you do not buy?

Yes, there are many cards that I cannot pay anything for. I will provide you with that list ahead of time so as not to waste your time and effort.

How much do you pay for cards?

It depends entirely on what your collection consists of. I have a "what-I-pay" list which I will provide you with up front so you can consider what to send me. The list provides a general breakdown of what I can pay on many categories of cards.

Is there a limit to how many cards I can send or how much value I can send?

Generally, there is no limit, although there may be unique situations. If this is the case, it will be discussed ahead of time.

Is there a minimum amount of value I can send?

Generally, there is no minimum, although there may be situations where it doesn't make sense to send me cards because of shipping costs.

If I ship you my collection, what is the process?

In short, if you ship me your collection, I will make you an offer on it within 5 days of receiving it, and will provide a detailed breakdown of the offer. You will have the option to accept the offer (in which case I will send you payment immediately), or pass (in which case I will mail the collection back to you). I will provide a much more detailed description of the process beforehand.

Can you offer me a price ahead of time?

There are situations where I can, for example if your entire collection is graded. However, often I cannot make an offer up front as I will need to have the cards in hand to determine what I can pay. I am happy to give estimates on specific items or answer questions you may have up front.

How do you determine what your offer will be?

I go through every card and price it according to my "what-I-pay" sheet, making adjustments as needed. When I send you my offer, I will provide a breakdown of why I ended up at that number, and include pictures of your cards so you can see how the calculation was made.

If I choose to accept your offer, how does payment work?

I will send payment within 24 hours of you accepting my offer. I will pay by your method of choice, options being paypal (friends and family), venmo, zelle, or mail you a check.

If I am not happy with the offer, what happens then?

If you choose not to sell me your collection for the price I offer, that is no problem. I will simply mail the cards back to you within a few days and I will cover the return shipping cost.

How many though-the-mail transactions have you done?

I began accepting through-the-mail collections in 2021 and have now completed over 200 through-the-mail transactions.

How many people accept your offers vs pass?

Well over 90% of people accept my offer.
